Zine Fest 2019 was on October 5th at the San Antonio Central Library in partnership with the Latino Collection & Resource Center.
The event featured numerous workshops and panel talks including “Coping Skills 101,” “Tejano Classic: In Conversation with Janie Esparza,” “Our Stories, Our Time: Reclaiming our narrative through the art of zine making,” “Machismo in Today’s World,” “Beyond Treat Yo Self: Self-Care Zine Workshop,” and “Cartoneras: Latin American Cardboard Books.”
